In the center of Danylove village on a steep hill stands Wooden Church of St. Nicolas - the youngest of Khust Gothic Maramorosh churches. The wooden church was built according to the inscription on the doors on 14th of May 1779.

The proportions and composition of wooden elements of the church create meteoric rise of the tower with its high spire - seems a moment - and the church will blast off overcoming gravity.

Inside Wooden Church of St. Nicolas wooden openwork arch separates the nave from babynets and altar. The the church preserved drawings of painter Kornmayer of 1828 according to the inscription on the western wall of the altar.

Near the church there is a wooden bell tower with three bells under the tent top.

Wooden Church of St. Nicolas restored in 1968 by architects Dmitrovich and Mogytych.

The church belongs to the best examples of wooden architecture located in the basin of Tissa river.
