Wooden Church of St. Nicholas was built in 1773 in Sokoliv village of Buchach district of Ternopil region. Although the church has repeatedly rebuilt the simplicity of shapes and sizes is rather reminiscent classical wooden house.

Wooden Church of St. Nicholas has three parts - babynets, nava and altar. The church has a traditional shape of a cross. Wall paintings in the church are not presented. The gable roof covered with shingles. Wooden Church of St. Nicholas was recreated in Lviv Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life in 1972.

Above the church rises a large octagonal tower topped by a cross of skilled blacksmith work.

Near Wooden Church of St. Nicholas there is a bell tower of the second half of XIX century. The bell tower moved to Lviv Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life of Monastyrysk city of Ternopil region.
