In the XVIII-th Vinnytsia Jazzfest 2013 will play jazz artists from Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Romania, Italy, Austria, Spain, Canada, India, USA, Russia and Ukraine. By tradition both days of Vinnytsia Jazzfest 2013 will start the performance of the project "Jazz de Paris" at Theater Square where play jazz the winners of The Third National Competition of Young Jazz Musicians "Junior Jazz". Young jazz performers add drive and frantic energy to the street life of Vinntysia. In the first day of Vinnytsia Jazzfest 2013 and first concert audience will hear two European trio: Roland Neffe’s Trio with jazz project "Vibes Beyond" (Austria - Germany) with an unusual use of vibraphone, marimba, bass and drums and Roman Tulei Trio (Switzerland - Romanien) - in which the main role plays piano. European jazz combine classical foundation and a bright jazz improvisation which in its development comes to a true avant-garde. The next concert is for fans of Polish and Italian jazz with its commitment to classic and special lyricism. Will sound solo virtuoso pianist Kuba Stankiewicz (Poland). He will perform improvisations on themes of famous Polish pianist and composer Wojciech Kilar who wrote the music for the film by Roman Polanski, Krzysztof Zanussi, Andrzej Wajda and Francis Ford Coppola. A complete first day of real good show - performing of eccentric musical theater quartet of Italians led by Dario Pinella who became famous in the jazz scenes of New York with inflammatory gypsy jazz. Unbridled rhythms and recognizable melodies which are characteristic features of Italian music creates a cheerful mood and willingness to listen more and more. The second day of the festival will begin with the projecy "Jazz de Paris" at Theater Square and young musicians who last year did the program "Hurly-Burly Jazz" will make their solo performances. Municipal Jazz Orchestra "VinBand" with a new program "Vocal Star Jazz" continue the second day of Vinnytsia Jazzfest 2013. Soloists will perform medleys of famous jazz standards accompanied by an orchestra of musicians. Then again two trios. This German musicians are able to unite representatives from different parts of our globe and to give Vinnytsia public intellectual but romantic and very modern jazz. Benedikt Jahnel Trio (Germany - Spain - Canada) led by Benedikt Jahnel is team of experimenters and improvisers - pianist from Germany, bassist from Spain and drummer from Canada - who will be able to charm the audience of Vinnitsa with well balanced, emotional and original music. The second group is a bit of exoticism. On stage in the lotus position will perform two Indians and a German which will offer all plunge into a strange fusion of unusual and colorful blend of authentic Indian motifs and expression of jazz. Buddhist philosophy of non-violence was proclaimed in the name of the team - Ahimsa. At the end of Vinnytsia Jazzfest 2013 another trio - a team led by the Russian drummer Oleg Butman (drums) comprising Natalia Smirnova - piano and Grigory Zaitsev - bass with specially invited diva Lisa Henry - talented jazz singer from United States. Lisa Henry is the winner of Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocals Competition and an International Jazz Ambassador to Africa. Lisa Henry appeared on stage with the greatest jazz musicians of our time and at the festival she will perform jazz standards and original compositions.
